Top 5 Food Delivery Services on Android in Mexico - Q1 2023

In the first quarter of 2023, the performance of the top 5 food delivery service applications on the Android platform in Mexico exhibited distinct trends in weekly downloads and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, reveals interesting insights into the market dynamics.

DiDi Food: Express Delivery experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 93K at the beginning of January and peaking at approximately 115K by mid-March. Active users saw a mix of fluctuations, beginning the quarter with about 1.2M and reaching a high of 1.36M in mid-February.

Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery also showed a strong performance in weekly downloads, with numbers oscillating between 92K and 116K throughout the quarter. Active users for Rappi hovered around 1.3M to 1.4M, peaking at nearly 1.45M in the second week of February.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery had a more moderate download trend, starting at around 50K and seeing a slight dip mid-quarter before climbing back to approximately 53K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar pattern, beginning at roughly 828K and fluctuating to a low of 687K at the end of February, before rebounding to 715K by the closing week of March.
